DAMO

gosh...
i really liked jet li's hero back then, so i thought why not give it a try and catch the k-drama DAMO.
in fact i didn't watch the original drama. a g-movie-version came out on dvd and considering the plot it sounded great.
but you know what, i'm so pissed with that dvd. a total waste of money!!!!!!!!!
i don't know the 16-hour-drama so it's hard for me to tell, if the summary on the cover was a lie or the truth. no matter what, the movie version didn't allow you to feel what was supposed to happen in the movie.
there was absolutely no chemistry.
i've seen the main actors before, can't remember the males' names. but the "police officer"-actor did a good job in "phoenix", and even though i hated that other dude in "ireland" and "no mercy for the rude", i liked him the more in this other cop-flick! but there, he just disappointed me. hating an actor in a movie is as good as liking one, because that means his acting is impressing...
the extras on the dvd were even more depressing...
not to mention the quality of the movie... sometimes the screen changed it's color, everything was in a green tone or red tone, the voiced didn't fit at all. as for one child, they just used the voice of an adult!!!! so i decided to watch it in original language with subs. not even g-subs available... e-subs are fine for me to understand, but darn, they weren't even in sync!
watching that 3-hour-movie was "the horror the horror"!
