movie reviews
it's easy... it may be the plot, the cover, the title, an actor...

Synopsis : Takeru returns to his small hometown to attend a Buddhist
ceremony honoring his deceased mother. His older brother, Minoru is the one
that
got Takeru to return to his roots for his mother’s ceremony.
Takeru
left his
hometown and family many years ago to live in Tokyo. Since that
time, he became
a successful photographer, while his brother Mineru, was
left behind to run
their family’s modest gas station business.
When
Takeru first arrived back in
his hometown, he learned that his
ex-girlfriend, Chie, is now working for their
family gas station business.
He watches his timid older brother work talk with
Chie and instantly feels
jealousy. That evening Takeru asks Mineru if he could
take Chie home, which
Mineru agrees to good-naturedly. He even gives Takeru
money to buy dinner.
Takeru and Chie soon end up back at her apartment and the
intimacy that they
shared years ago are quickly rekindled.
The next day, at
the insistence
of Mineru, they all go together to the area known as “Hasumi
Gorge,” a
beautiful mountainous area with a river and an old suspension bridge.
On
that fateful day, Chie tries to cross the swaying suspension bridge with
Mineru closely behind her, but falls to her death.
Mineru is now on
trial
for the murder of Chie and his younger brother Takeru must now tie the
pieces
together to find out his innocence or guilt.
next is Death Note: The Last Name

When we last left Light Yagami (Tatsuya Fujiwara), he had just perpetrated the most elaborate and successful demonstration of his Death Note, the supernatural notebook that kills anyone whose name is written inside it. As a result of his clever scheming, Light was invited to join the investigation team chasing the mass murderer known as Kira -- who just so happens to be Light, anonymously using the Death Note to kill scores of criminals daily. However, oddball super detective and avid sugar-lover L (Kinichi Matsuyama) truly suspects that Light is Kira, and he's not shy about letting Light know. During their initial and subsequent meetings, L basically rubs Light's face in his obvious suspicion. However, instead of avoiding potential capture, Light embraces the chance to work side-by-side with his sweets-loving rival. Now that L and Light/Kira are working together, the stage is set for an epic battle between two insanely smart guys who like to talk a lot. It's a showdown of acrobatic mental geniuses, who use keen reasoning and elaborate mindgames to outwit their wily opponent. Who will be the last name written in the Death Note? Will it be the megalomaniacal Light, or the wacky but honorable L?
it must have been tiring for "K" to shoot that movie. always having to eat sweets *ieck* in fact i didn't like the first part that much. but the second. woar~ awesome plot! it got me irritated a lot, which i loved. i hate it, when i can foretell everything about a movie...
followed by Traces of LoveThe film begins in 1995 with newly qualified attorney Hyun Woo (popular actor Yoo Ji Tae, best known for his role in Park Chan-wook’s classic “Oldboy”) and his fiancée Min Joo (Kim Ji Soo, also in “Romance and This Charming Girl”) happily in love and about to move into their first apartment together. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes as Min Joo is caught up in the horrific collapse of a shopping mall (a real life incident which claimed the lives of over five hundred people and injured more than a thousand), leaving Hyun Woo alone and lost in the world.
Ten years later, Hyun Woo is still unable to get on with his life, when he receives a package containing a travel diary written by his lost love which describes a series of places she had hoped they would visit together. After trouble at his work leads to an enforced holiday, he decides to follow the path laid out in the book, only to repeatedly encounter Se Jin (actress Uhm Ji Won of “Tale of Cinema” and “Running Wild”), a strange young woman who seems to have a connection with Min Joo.
i only realized now, that i had actually watched quite a lot of movies starring yoo ji tae so far. he's impressive! watched his ditto, one fine spring day, into the mirror, natural city, oldboy, running wild and now traces of love
